22 LR / 22 WMR, 6 1/2” barrel with a bright excellent bore. This 1968-manufactured revolver retains 99% original blue and black anodized finishes showing only the odd storage or handling mark. The XR3-RED grip frame shows a crisp “[ALCOA]G2” and the smooth walnut grips with black-on-silver Ruger Eagle medallions remain excellent. It retains its original adjustable rear and Patridge front sights, all markings remain crisp, and the gun appears to function well mechanically; this example has been subject to Ruger’s transfer bar safety upgrade. Included is an unmarked hinged red factory box, manual and paperwork, conversion cylinder, and original factory lockwork.
