The Ruger LCR is a lightweight compact revolver built with a polymer fire-control housing and an aerospace-grade aluminum monolithic frame paired with a fluted stainless steel cylinder. This configuration is factory-rated for .38 Special (+P) loads and uses Ruger’s friction-reducing cam fire control system for a smooth, non-stacking double-action trigger pull.
This model features a 1.87in (1-7/8") barrel, replaceable ramp front sight and a fixed U-notch rear sight. The small-frame LCR is a five-shot revolver and the unloaded weight is approximately 13.5 oz. It ships with Ruger’s Hogue Tamer style grip (Sorbothane insert) and includes an unobtrusive internal key-operated lock.
