The Ruger LCR in 9mm Luger is a compact, double-action-only concealed-carry revolver designed to chamber rimless 9mm cartridges using moon clips. It features a short 1.87in barrel and a 5-round cylinder, providing a small overall length for deep concealment.
The design uses a monolithic stainless-steel cylinder/frame construction for the 9mm variant, paired with Ruger’s polymer fire-control housing and a Hogue Tamer Monogrip to reduce perceived recoil.
