More and more Rossi Combo guns are appearing with synthetic stocks, much as their US Predecessors began twenty years ago, and fewer and fewer with Brazilian Walnut. We are given to understand that the walnut and Goncalo stocked Rossi Rifles and shotguns are a thing of the past, as far as new production is concerned. Here is an Excellent Late Model Rossi Combo Gun with Brazilian Walnut stock and forend. While its forend is nicely grained but not quite figured, the 12 3/4 inch pull Buttstock is nicely figured with a substantial amount of birdseye near the factory buttpad. This little Rifle / Shotgun Combo is Excellent throughout, since we rate its finish at 95 percent. Photos should suffice, however, for interested parties to judge finish grade for themselves. Bluing is near full strength throughout on the receiver, parts, and both barrels. Rifle barrel is light contour 22 inch, and the weight of the rifle configuration is a well balanced 7 pounds. Scope is a traditions 2x7 Variable held secure by a Weaver style mounting system, and the hammer extension is a very nice knurled blue steel. Scope has conventional duplex style crosshairs with a ghost ring globe that highlights the center crosshairs. Shotgun barrel is 3 inch chambered, 22 inch modified, also a very nice light contour. This is a very nice, well preserved local combo gun with only one owner, and it is Excellent throughout, 95 percent or better by our estimate. The rifle barrels on these outperform their New England competitors, and are lighter and better balanced.
