Remington 8 25 Rem with tang sight

25 Remington, serial number F200XX. Appears all original with some light modifications. Sling swivel added to forend. Plain stock with original Winchester buttplate, well worn. Wood shows significant marring, "W" carved into wrist on right side, crack at wrist on left side extends back about 2.5", crack in forend on right side extends back about 3". Uniform pitting on receiver and barrel. Bore shows moderate-heavy pitting, rifling still visible. Screw in lower tang looks like it has been drilled to remove?? Rear sight is missing and one screw has been replaced with a brass washer and aftermarket screw. The other screw hole shows grinder/clean up marks. Comes with tang sight, unknown make.
