The Ruger Super Blackhawk is a single-action, large-frame revolver chambered for the .44 Magnum that also accepts factory .44 Special cartridges. It features a cold hammer-forged barrel and traditional western-style hardwood grips.
Factory safety includes Ruger’s transfer-bar mechanism and loading-gate interlock. The standard sighting package for this model is a fixed ramp front sight with an adjustable rear sight. This 10.50in target-length Super Blackhawk is finished in blued alloy steel and ships with a 6-round unfluted cylinder.
