MODEL 1910 MEXICAN MAUSER RIFLE. 7X57 Mauser cal.. This rifle was made in 1933 and is marked as such on the receiver along with the Mexican crest. It retains over 95% bluing. The bolt is in the white and has a matching number to the receiver. The bore is very good. It is semi shiny with strong rifling but a little darker in the grooves. I would rate it a 8.5 to 9 . The wood is very good . There appears to be a coating of linseed oil on it. It has a cleaning rod but I don't think it is original to this gun. The Mexican Mauser rifle is unique because it is made on a small ring 98 action. There were only about 40k of these rifles ever produced. Most of them that survived were made into custom sporting rifles . Most of the rest are well worn beaters. This one is one of the best I have ever seen. They are considered scarce today especially in this condition. It would make a nice addition to any Military Mauser collection. Additional photos are available on request.
