The firing pin hole is not fully drilled through and Vintage Ordnance Co. LLC does not advocate firing any Liberator pistol due to the inherent dangers in its design. 1st Model pistols were unreliable becuase the cocking piece sometimes rotated during firing causing the firing pin to miss the hole in the breech block!
