Iver Johnson 3rd Model 38 S&W Target Grip

The 3rd Model Top Break Revolvers were made for smokeless powder. Therefore this gun is safe to use with current factory loads. This gun is in very good condition. The indexing is correct. The lockup of the cylinder and barrel catch are both tight. The bore is very good. The auto ejecting system works properly. The grip has no cracks or splits, but shows some surface wear as you would expect from a gun of this age. There are some scratches in the cylinder and 1 line of light surface rust. The barrel has 90% or more of its original bluing with a couple of light nicks on each side. The frame is turning a gray patina, but no rusting. I accept payment by USPS Money Order.
