The Iver Johnson Cadet 55-SA (often styled as 55S-A) is a classic, single-action 8-shot revolver. Not test fired.
Small spur-trigger pocket revolver with a compact cylinder and short barrel, typical of late-1800s/early-1900s “suicide special” style handguns. Appears to have a nickel/bright finish with visible wear, pitting, and finish loss throughout. Black hard rubber or gutta-percha style grips are present. Best suited as a curio/collector piece or display item, with any firing only after inspection by a qualified gunsmith.
