EMF imported Made in Italy by Armi San Marco 1851 Colt Navy. This is a cartridge conversion model which takes standard .38 special cowboy ammunition. This is not a black powder revolver. This is considered a firearm and must be shipped to a FFL dealer for transfer. These are excellent revolvers for those that want the look and feel of a BP cowboy gun but do not want to mess with all the hassle of reloading. The revolver is used but shows little signs of being fired. ASM made some of the nicest replicas to come out of Italy. There are some minor handling and storage marks in the bluing. There is an area on the ejector rod housing with spotting visible in the bluing. It is not noticeable unless you look closely at it. There is some expected bluing loss on the high spots of the cylinder where the moving parts make contact. We did not even realize it until we saw the photos blown up on the computer screen. Lockup is tight, the hammer and cylinder action is tight. The trigger is crisp and smooth with no hang ups. The bluing is very deep and rich and shows very nicely. Case coloring is vibrant and deep. We did not polish or do anything for these photos. Even nicer in person.
