I was informed by Mr. Gallagher that the Bowen work is approximately $700.00 according to his website, & Gallagher work another $325.00, which does not include the base gun. In-addition I have letters from both gunsmith outlying work performed: Refit gun with stainless steel grip frame; One of the finest deep blue finishes applied to entire gun; Fabricated and custom fit stag grips (perfect fit); Action job; Added Oversize locking base pin; Added Steel ejector tube fitted for stubbed barrel; Added Bowen Rough Country rear sight with outline/square notch blade; Added Weigand Combat DX front sight (hi-viz opti-firbre red insert included); Serrated ramp front sight; Fabricated and fit 45 acp cylinder to duplicate dimensions of the 45 colt cylinder; Performed a rapid-taper barrel contour; Barrel was refit and the endshake was removed from the cylinder.
