Custom Remington .40-65 Rolling Block BPCR

This is a custom .40-65 Rolling Block black powder cartridge rifle built on a Remington #5 smokeless color case hardened receiver with a single-set-trigger. It has been fired but is in like new condition with no marks or dings on the metal or wood. The bore is perfect. The 31” long 8-groove right-hand twist heavy Douglas barrel has a groove diameter of .411” and a bore diameter of .403”. The rifling twist rate is 1 turn in 16” (1:16). The rifle features a stock and forearm from Treebone Carving with a soft Pachmayr recoil pad added. Both the stock and forearm are glass-bedded for a perfect fit to the receiver and barrel. The rifle fits right or left handed shooters equally well.

The sights were originally manufactured by AMT for a Browning BPCR. The front spirit level sight comes with 8 inserts. The vernier soule rear sight comes with three interchangeable eyecup apertures, two mounting screws, sight owner’s manual and a molded “sight box” designed to protect the sights. Eyecup aperture (hole) sizes are 0.064”, 0.073” and 0.108”. The rear sight mounting screws and front sight inserts are stored in a small plastic container. On a very accurate postage scale, the rifle weighs 10lbs 11oz with the sights and an eyecup installed.

I will need a signed copy of your dealer’s FFL with their phone number. The rifle will be shipped to the address on the FFL. Shipping and handling is $50.00 (CONUS only), which also covers full insurance. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii will require an additional charge. Due to a history of shippers damaging these type of heavy rifles, I only ship FedEx Insured or USPS Insured Priority Registered mail. Texas residents are required to pay 7.75% sales tax. Only acceptable methods of payment are US Postal Service money orders or a certified cashier’s check. A phone number is required to contact the issuer of a cashier's check for verification.
