Colt SAA New Frontier .45 Colt. Made in 1974, serial number 7237NF has a 5.5-inch barrel, color case flat-top frame, adjustable sight and walnut grips. MARKINGS: The serial number appears on the frame, 2x on the grip (hidden), on the cylinder (partial) and in pencil on both grip panels. CONDITION: The bore is bright and shiny, with a faint "partial ring" near the middle which seems to be nothing more than where a tool reversed. The cylinder locks up tight and the hammer "clicks"" with solid authority. Overall metal finish is about 98 percent, with faint evidence of handling and firing. Grips are nearly the same, with faint chipping along the lower front of the right panel. No box or papers. The price is firm and layaway is available.
