The Colt Python Combat Elite is a 3-inch stainless-steel version of Colt’s modern Python family. Chambered in .357 Magnum (also accepts .38 Special), the Combat Elite configuration ships with a polished stainless frame, abbreviated combat-style G10 grips and an unfluted cylinder for a distinctive appearance and added mass. Factory sights include an adjustable rear target sight and a tritium night front sight for low-light acquisition. The Python retains a single-action/double-action trigger system and incorporates a transfer-bar safety. The model is offered as a 6-round revolver and is marketed as a compact, range-capable revolver suitable for hunting and sport/target use.
