The Colt Python (4.25") is a stainless-steel, six-shot double-/single-action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum (also accepts .38 Special). It ships with checkered walnut target stocks and a vent-rib barrel with a recessed target crown.
Factory sights include a user-interchangeable red-ramp front sight and an adjustable rear sight for windage and elevation. The revolver uses a transfer-bar safety and features a full-length ejector shroud; unloaded weight is 42 oz and overall length is 9.75 in.
