.38 Special, 4” full lug ventilated rib heavy barrel with a bright excellent bore. This stunning 1972-manufactured revolver remains virtually as new in-the-box. This fine gun retains about 99% plus original nickel plate. The checkered walnut factory target grips feature gold Rampant Colt medallions and rate excellent although there is later added filler along the upper seam of the backstrap that precludes easy removal of the grip panels. This gun features a nickel plate serrated ramp front sight and nickel plate Colt Accro adjustable rear sight. This gun includes a mismatched factory woodgrain box. A fine example of these very desirable collectibles.
