The Colt Python 2.5in Matte Blued is a six-shot revolver chambered in .357 Magnum with a 2.5 in barrel, matte blued finish and wood grips. The model is a short-barrel (2.5") Python variant offered in Colt's modern Python family. Built on the Python platform, the revolver features a shrouded ejector rod, an interchangeable front ramp sight and an adjustable rear sight, and uses a transfer-bar safety system. It is designed to fire .357 Magnum and also functions safely with .38 Special and .38 Special +P ammunition.
