Colt S.A.A. 1st Gen. Revolver (.38 W.C.F.)

Up for sale is an old Colt Single Action Army Revolver (.38 W.C.F.). This early first generation revolver (sometimes referred to as the “Civilian” or “Gunfighter” model) has a 4-3/4” barrel and was manufactured sometime in 1898. The exterior of this piece exhibits light to moderate pitting over the entire surface and the original finish is non-existent. The bore is in suprisingly good condition with only mild pitting but the rifling is still intact and strong. The chambers are in great shape with only very light pitting visible.
