Clerke 1st small-frame double-action revolver chambered in .22 LR. Satin/nickel-tone finish with fixed sights and compact snub-style barrel. This one has a broken main spring so needs a part replaced to operate. Numerich has them for under 10$.
Marked ".22 L.R." on the barrel and "CLERKE 1st" on the frame. Black checkered grips show visible wear; metal finish shows noticeable handling marks and spotting consistent with regular use. A handy, lightweight plinker/kit gun and a neat example of inexpensive California-made revolvers from the era.
