We are offering for sale a Chilean Mauser Model 1895, or as its known, the Mauser Chileno Modelo 1895 bolt action rifle chambered in 7x57mm. This rifle remains in excellent condition and may have never been issued. This is a 100% Matching Numbers rifle. 29” barrel is near excellent with stunning original bluing; Some very light freckling on muzzle; Bore is MINTY without any wear. Rifle was probably never fired. Cleaning rod shows some light oxidation wear as well. Original sights; Rear ladder sight has a stunning fire blue slide. Receiver is mint retaining all of its bluing with strong marks. Bolt release shows original fire blue coloring. Bolt and trigger function flawlessly. Stock is excellent with minor handling wear from years or storage.
