Charter Arms Undercover .38 First Gen

This is the cream of the Charter Arms First Generation crop(post-600,000 serial number). Quality and finish is superior to pre-600,000 First Generation serial numbers and all Second and subsequent-generation Undercover revolvers. Serial number is 604XXX, a Stratford-Connecticut manufactured Undercover. Purchased new in 1980; fired very little and never carried. All steel construction, except for alloy trigger guard and grip frame. Extremely tight lockup. Blued finish is like new, except for a very light cylinder turn line. Five shot cylinder, color case hardened hammer, drop-safe transfer bar safety system, original Charter Arms wood grips with medallion, no underbarrel lug. They don't make them like this anymore-a collectible that represents the zenith of the Charter Arms Undercover design/quality of manufacturing, past and present. Original box (matching serial number) is in very good condition. Also includes one Tuff Quick Strip for fast reloading and five Silver Star .38 Special snap caps.
