Remington .41 Rimfire O/U Derringer with IVORY GRIPS Serial # 311

This gun belonged to my recently deceased 87 years old Father, and it belonged to his Father before him.
I know nothing about Derringers, so I have tried my best to describe this gun's condition via photographs. I can tell you that until 2 weeks ago it has lived the past 35 years in a display case, that my father had made. I do not believe that he himself ever fired it, but I am not positive of that fact. I have not cleaned it since removing it from the display case, as you can see in the photographs. Some surface rust is present, but not much.
The action is extremely tight. I had a local gunsmith just look it over, and he assured me that it is in excellent working order.
The ivory grips do not have any sort of markings either inside or out on them.
