Crimson Trace

I’m an unashamed shotgun nerd, and I love all types of shotguns. This includes guns that are technically not shotguns but use shotgun patterns, shotgun ammunition, and the like. You know, those pesky little firearms like the TAC-14 and Shockwave firearms. These guns tend to be tough to aim and tough to shoot, at least compared to a stocked shotgun. Crimson Trace has your back in making that a fair bit easier via the Crimson Trace Laser Saddle.

When I heard that Crimson Trace had come out with a new line of red dot sights, their Rapid Aiming Dots (RAD), it made complete sense to me. After all, Crimson Trace has been in the firearm laser and light business for decades, and in more recent years has introduced their scope lines, so adding electronics into optics to get new electronic sights seems to be the natural progression.

Crimson Trace is a name that many, if not most gun enthusiasts know. We recognize their name from laser sights and battle lights. That said, some are unaware that they are now making optics. These optics vary from electronic reflex sights to magnified rifle optics as well as budget to higher-end. Many of these bring a lot to the table in their price range.

As of late, there are so many options for red dot sights on the market. Some see this as a bad thing, but I really enjoy the huge selection that is available when shopping for an electronic sight. Crimson Trace adds to these options with their new line of electronic optics and I had the privilege to test out the CTS-1000.

Crimson Trace has long been known for their lasers and lights and has a few new offerings of those here at SHOT 2019, but what is most surprising is that they now have a full optics line.  Crimson Trace didn’t just dip their toe in the waters they jumped in full cannonball style.

Crimson Trace, has just announced the release of a new line of riflescopes designed for tactical, long range, hunting, and recreational uses. There are 11 new scopes.
