PTR Industries is an American company that is all about classic design and modern production techniques. PTR produces every machined part for rifles in its Aynor, South Carolina plant.

It isn’t often we get a semi-auto rifle design that is wildly different, but not often also doesn’t mean never. And this week we got our hands on one that is way outside of current norms for a battle rifle. New, from CZ, the evolution of the Bren family of rifles. The Bren 2 MS!

Desert Tech’s MDRX is a prime example of human ingenuity and true innovation. Not only is it unique, but it fills the role that it was designed for perfectly. The MDRX is the ultimate battle rifle because it is short and mobile without giving up barrel length and the accompanying velocity. A longer barrel will also emit less muzzle flash than a shorter comparator which is important for staying concealed.

But perhaps the biggest headline, aside from the chambering itself, is the ability to change the rifle from a fully right-hand shooter’s gun to a fully left-hand shooter’s gun – in just minutes – without tools or additional parts.

The Springfield SAINT Victor 308 is built for a purpose in mind and that is to be a lightweight run and gun type rifle that offers more firepower than the typical AR-15.
