Everytown for Gun Safety is pouring millions into the midterm elections this Fall. The group announced this week its “first wave” of spending, up to $10 million, will go to “gun sense” candidates in Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, and New Mexico.

“The American people know gun safety isn’t a right-or-left issue — it’s a life-or-death issue that our leaders need to address immediately. Voters of all stripes want stronger gun laws — and Everytown is going to redraw the electoral map in November,” said John Feinblatt, the president of Everytown for Gun Safety, in a press release.

Contributions to candidates and money spent on mail, TV, digital and radio advertisements are made via the group’s political arm, the Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund. Not including that $10 mill., the Action Fund has already dropped $1.2 million on congressional candidate Lucy McBath, who is running to represent Georgia’s sixth district.

“Across the country, Moms Demand Action volunteers are showing up for candidates who support gun safety,” said Shannon Watts, the Founder of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, the grassroots arm of Everytown.

“We’re registering voters, knocking doors and making calls to get people to the polls to vote for gun sense candidates in November,” she added. “Make no mistake: a wave of gun sense candidates who support common-sense gun laws is coming.”

Specifically, Everytown is endorsing the following candidates:

  • Stacey Abrams, Democratic Candidate for Governor in Georgia
  • Gretchen Whitmer, Democratic Candidate for Governor in Michigan
  • Dana Nessel, Democratic Candidate for Attorney General in Michigan
  • Steve Sisolak, Democratic Candidate for Governor in Nevada
  • Aaron Ford, Democratic Candidate for Attorney General in Nevada
  • Michelle Lujan Grisham, Democratic Candidate for Governor in New Mexico

While Everytown has largely failed to make a difference at the federal level, it has scored victories at the state level. Laws criminalizing private transfers, banning bump stocks, raising the purchase age for long guns to 21, allowing for ‘Red Flag’ confiscation, among others, have all been enacted in various states since the group’s inception in 2014.

Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, the benefactor of the Everytown operation, hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down either. Which means 2A rights are on the chopping block this election cycle and every one thereafter.

“Gun owners need to step up their involvement in these and other midterm election races and tell Bloomberg that our constitutional and civil rights are not for sale,” said Alan Gottlieb, the executive vice president of the Second Amendment Foundation, in an email to GunsAmerica.

“If Bloomberg and his hate gun groups had their way they would buy every election they could,” he added.

Vote!  Get your friends to vote!  Get everyone you know to vote!  It’s the only way to stave off these gun NONsense candidates.

Did you notice every candidate is a DUMB-O-CRAT and did you notice the kid with the sign–MY GENERATION VOTES.
Ya they vote but the re a bunch of brainwashed college students who have been molded by a bunch of LIBERAL PROFESSORS. The majority of these lemmings will vote for gun control, mind control, and total people control then cry like little babies when it squeezes them.
I am almost 70 , Im a Vietnam VET have owned guns all my life and have NEVER hurt anyone with one of them.
I have never witnessed any kind of gun jump up an on its own shoot anyone–wow can you believe that–the Dems call all guns evil–no they are whats eveil not the guns.
Why dont they take that 10 MILLION DOLLARS and spend it to stop the gun violence in towns like Chicago and make sure the politicians dont get control of the money or they will piss it away on welfare programs so they can get re-elected and the killing would continue.
    FACT:
Republicans own far more guns than Dems do, Republicans are responsible gun owners, the killers in every mass shooting ARE NOT REPUBLICANS yey the Dems want to take OUR GUNS–do you see anything wrong with that, what party runs every city where gun violence is rampant–duuuuuuuuuh again DUMB-O-CRATS—–We need to get out and vote every democrat out of office–Bloomberg,Feinstein,Pelosi,Booker and the entire black caucus (who by the way by definition is a racist bunch) plus and whole bunch more need to be gone and also initiate term limits.
    Enough said

The ultimate goal of liberals is to completely tear up the Constitution and Bill of Rights and start over with “their” version of both. That’s why they reference it all the time. They know “we” respect it and use that respect against us. It won’t be pretty either. Right to life, due process (Judge Kavanaugh for example), self defense (no criminals in the land of unicorns), free elections (the two party system – gone), freedom of speech (only their version of it), and many other rights and freedoms we currently enjoy, the whole reason America is such a great country, will be all gone in a flash. The majority will rule and opposition will be put down. The future of this great nation is at our feet right now. If Republicans don’t win in November and Bret Kavanaugh doesn’t get confirmed (Susan Collins and Jeff Flake – keep your eyes on those two) then it’s likely going to be over. It won’t be a pretty loss either.

Nearly 620k lives were lost in the war started by democrats striving to hold their “rights” to keep slaves in 1861 – Civil War. The population was only 30m then and weapons weren’t so great. The population now is 300m and our weapons are way better. A pandemic plague will kill fewer then the next civil war will and this great country will forever change like nobody can imagine. Watch the movie with Kevin Costner, “The Postman” for a potential outcome. That movie was based on nuke strikes destroying America and tge following survival and rebuilding of it. But with all the guns and supplies we currently own and have in stock the nukes may seem minimal.

I hope I’m wrong but I don’t think I’m far off the mark. History IS repeating.
