In the firearms industry, there are two types of companies, those that listen to their customers and those that don’t. I love it when a company takes feedback and brings the customer what they are looking for.
This year at SHOT Show 2020, Crossbreed Holsters did just that. While Crossbreed has grown a loyal following with its SuperTuck line of holsters, customers have wanted more.
If you are unfamiliar with the SuperTuck Holster, it is a concealed carry holster made for Inside the Waist Band (IWB) carry. It features a top grain premium cowhide backing with a molded Kydex holster body. This gives the wearer the best of both worlds. The comfort of a leather holster against your body, but the retention and durability of Kydex for your pistol.
While the SuperTuck has been the flagship holster for CrossBreed, it has one area where customers have been wanting an improvement, the retention. The SuperTuck Holster relies, in part, on the tension of the wearer’s belt to keep the pistol in place. While this works, what about when you need to undo your belt, be it for dressing, using the restroom or whatever?
The New SuperTuck 2.0 has active retention built into the holster. The holster body is attached to leather backing with seven screws. Each screw can be individually adjusted to give the user the perfect amount of tension for their pistol and carry preference. This is advantageous because when the holster is not worn belted tight, it still retains the pistol.
The SuperTuck 2.0, like previous models, is adjustable for cant and ride depth. The Kydex portion can be ordered for almost any pistol and is available in numerous colors and patterns. The SuperTuck 2.0 will be available Q1 with an MSRP of $74.95 and a MAP of $69.95.
