The APC10 is a Swiss-made 10mm SMG coming soon.

B+T has created a second version of the APC9, which the US military has recently adopted as their new submachine gun. The APC9 replaces the Heckler and Koch MP5. This new version is chambered in 10mm and offers a little more punch than the 9mm version. While at the range during SHOT Show, True Pearce took a close look at B+T’s new APC10 Pro, a 10mm submachine gun.

It’ll be suppressor-ready with B+T’s Tri-lug mount. This gun is so new that the preproduction unit at the range had a 3D printed receiver. It’s already gone through extensive testing and cycles well with all 10mm ammo. Interestingly, compared to the APC9, it’s more efficient at reducing the felt recoil of the 10mm round.

The APC10 takes AR-style grips. Glock 10mm magazines are the only option at this point, but those are not in short supply.

Like the APC9, it’s got a non-reciprocating foldaway charging handle on both sides. The bolt release and magazine release are also ambidextrous.

Obviously the gun offered to the public will be a semiautomatic, pistol variant, with two brace options. One is a side folding SB Tactical that is customized in-house and the other is a telescoping version with a Gearhead Works Tailhook.

It’ll be available in April 2020, for about $2,200

Keep an eye on B+T’s website for more info coming soon.

I like the 10-mm option much more than the 9. Double the bullet weight and keeping that fast velocity raises the bullet energy. I never liked the 9 mm and compared it to the .38 Special while using a .40 S&W pistol. It was too close to the 9 mm, so the 10 should be the logical next step.

Compact bear defense choice for those who dont want a remington versamax shockwave style semi auto with rifled slugs. I admire the swiss guys rule 3 practice or as i like to say “finger straight until you want to send the hate”.
I’ve seen alot of europeans who love to keep fingers on triggers.
