My son is currently 5. He is already begging to go.  I will take him to help me, “look for the deers, Dad!” this fall. He won’t be of legal age here to shoot one yet, but it’s not far away.

It was a month before Christmas of 2021 and I was out looking for a rifle and ammo to go with it.  I’m sure most of you can recall that was not the best of times for firearm shopping and ammo was even worse.

But if your feet are warm and dry you will have one less thing to complain about while recounting the tale of the one-that-got-away back at camp. The Original Muck Boot Company makes some great footwear for keeping your feet warm and dry in the field.

A Seven Shooter: Ruger .327 Single-Seven Review

The Ruger Single-Six Revolver has been around since 1953. Since then, there have been a multitude of different models of this handy small-framed single action. It was on a Ruger Single-Six 22 that I first learned how to shoot a handgun and I suspect that is the case for a lot of people. A couple of years ago Ruger came out with a special model of this wheel gun as an exclusive for one of their distributors. This version is called the Single-Seven and it is chambered in .327 Federal Magnum.
