.32 Smith & Wesson Break Open Revolver +

Fourth Model pre-1898 S & W revolver in .32 S & W caliber, also known as .32 short. Can be sent directly without going through an FFL due to it's age and serial no. Bore has either some pitting or some black powder residue or both I'm not sure. Gun locks up tight and rotates and functions well with good timing. I just took it to the range last weekend and shot the first round in single action just to test it out and then 5 subsequent ones by pulling the trigger in double action. The cylinder holds five. The gun is cleaner than it was in the picture because I cleaned it after I took it to the range and took the picture before I went. All serial numbers match, the ones underneath the locking latch, on the cylinder as well as on the grip. One part of the grip, the plastic grip piece on the left hand side, has been replaced and is a little too long, but nothing I couldn't live with. Just be careful not to drop it on the grips or hammer things with the butt. New grips are available and hundreds of thousands of these were made. Comes with the old cartridge box pictured that matches a slightly different model of the gun, like model three or box is actually in pretty good shape the worst part of it is the top. The inside looks great. It could hold your antique bullets when you get some. New cowboy loads are also available from time to time. Also comes with a holster which could be trimmed and sewn to fit exactly an inch or so all the way down. The inside of the holster is nice and smooth, holster looks mainly unused and has a belt clip on the other side. The outside feels like suede. Inside is dyed brown and appears to be of excellent quality, like saddle leather? I don't know much about leather. Could be used for storing the gun in as it is now.
