This is Norinco's tribute to the highly desirable Winchester 97 World War I Trench Gun. These fine shotguns are manufactured in China and imported by Interstate Arms in Massachusetts. We have sold a good many of them locally over the past 20 years, and they are fine shotguns. The copy is better than the original, due to advances in metallurgy. All metal finish is faithful streaked bright blue with heat shield and bayonet lug. M&P Buttstock and traditional corn cob forend are 100% genuine American Walnut, just like the originals. Barrel is 20 inch cylinder bore, and capacity is 4 + 1 shells, 2 3/4 inch only. Weight is 7 pounds empty, and safety mechanism is a single action type hammer on the order of the original 1897 Winchesters.
