Winchester 70 Custom Shop Featherweight Stainless, Detachable Magazine, 1 of 2 ever made

Winchester Custom Shop Model 70 Featherweight .270 Winchester with detachable box magazine. One of only two rifles made in this configuration, serial number G2025647 is supported by documentation and is certainly among the most unique and desirable Model 70 rifles ever presented to the market. In fact, both were purchased by Custom Shop managers and neither has subsequently been offered for sale (per consignor). Special features include select walnut, single crossbolt, hand-honed action and hand-lapped barrel, jeweled bolt body, Custom Shop proof marking and "stainless colored one piece trigger guard". Two original detachable magazines are included, as is a factory box with hand-written (on tape) model description. All dimensions appear to be standard. CONDITION: The rifle has not been fired since proof and remains in virtually new condition with only slight indications of handling.
