Winchester Model 74, .22 LR, Great Shape!

This listing is a very slick and somewhat rare little semi-automatic rifle, a Winchester model 74. It is chambered in .22 LR and was manufactured in 1974. Unlike many semi-auto rimfire rifles of this era the Winchester 74 has its magazine in the buttstock. This offers more protection than the traditional underbarrel design. Having more weight in the rear of the rifle, combined with the medium profile barrel, also gives this svelte long gun excellent balance and makes offhand shooting a joy. The cut of the buttstock also lines the shooter's eye up very naturally with the sights. This rifle has a clean shiny bore with no obvious evidence of corrosion. The exterior metalwork of this rifle still has 95% of its bluing and the stock only has minor scuffs/dings.(see pics) This rifle has been function checked and is working normally.
