New Winchester/Miroku 1885 Creedmoor .45-90

This is one of the Limited Series Winchester Model 1885 High Wall .45-90 Creedmoor Single Shot BPCRs. It is new in the box, never fired and comes with the original box and all paperwork. Only 126 of these rifles were made. Ideal for long range shooting when hunting, or target shooting, it’s chambered for the powerful .45-90 Winchester cartridge and features a ½ octagon ½ round 30” Badger barrel. Don’t confuse this with the 1885 Hi Wall Standard rifle as they are not the same. This is the Creedmoor version with heavy barrel and much better workmanship, case hardening, checkered stocks and steel checkered butt plate and grip cap.. The rifling twist rate is 1 in 18. It will also fire the .45-70 Government cartridge. The front top of the receiver and rear of the barrel are drilled and tapped for scope mounts and the Browning scope mounts made exclusively for this rifle are included. These mounts are rare and very hard to find. Use a low power scope to work up loads for BPCR shooting and then switch to regulation tang sights for competition. The rifle is ready for tang sights and a front dovetail is precut should you decide to use this type of sighting system. The rifle weighs 11 lbs 2 oz with scope bases and should easily meet the 12# 2oz BPCR weight limit. Custom, handmade case shown in the photos is included.
