Winchester pre-64 Model 70 .458 Winchester Magnum serial number 496357. Features a new (post-64) factory 25-inch Super Grade barrel with a hooded front sight, barrel-mounted recoil lug (not drilled/tapped for attach screw so the corresponding screw hole in the stock is open) and barrel-mounted sling swivel stud. It has also been tapped for a quarter rib. Stock is a refinished pre-64 Standard Grade stock with 13.675 LOP, original pad and added sling swivel stud. Action has not been glass-bedded and forward sling swivel stud is absent. Overall condition as refinished is about 95% metal and 90% wood. Weight is 8.8 pounds. Price firm. Layaway considered.
