Winchester 1885 High Wall Ltd. Series 45-90 BPCR w/Creedmoor Sights

This NIB rifle is one of the limited Series Winchester Model 1885 High-Wall .45-90 Single Shot BPCRs. Only 125 rifles were made. This rifle is serial number 49. The fit and finish is excellent. The 30” long 8-groove right-hand twist heavy Badger barrel has a bore diameter of .450”; a groove diameter of .458” and rifling twist rate of 1:18. Rifle comes with Winchester/AMT Creedmoor sights installed. It is an “out-of-the-box” rifle ready for silhouette and long-range Creedmoor competition. It has a colored case-hardened receiver with a colored case-hardened shotgun-style butt plate to aid in reducing felt recoil, especially in the prone position. The oil finish stock and forearm are from grade III/IV walnut. The “vernier soule-style” windage-adjustable rear tang sight comes with three eyecups with apertures (hole) sizes of 0.052”, 0.064”, and 0.073”. The front sight is a windage-adjustable, hooded, globe-type, spirit-level designed for longer range shooting in adverse wind conditions with 8 inserts. The receiver and barrel are drilled and tapped to install scope bases. The barrel has a matte blued finish. On an accurate postage scale the rifle weighs 11lbs 4.4 oz with sights installed. It will be shipped in the original factory box. I will need a signed copy of your dealer’s FFL. Fully insured shipping and handling via FedEx ground is $50.00 (CONUS only). Shipping to Alaska & Hawaii will incur an additional fee. NOTE – I SELL TO CALIFORNIA CUSTOMERS FOR NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. The rifle will be shipped after the final payment is received. For an additional $65, in exchange for the original sear, a Lee Shaver modified trigger sear can be installed, reducing the 4 to 5 lb factory trigger pull to approximately 2 lbs or slightly less. For $60 I can provide a Cerrosafe cast of the chamber, throat & bore with all dimensions documented at the correct 1hr. time after the cast was made. Please note that returns are not accepted on new firearms, but, if found defective, the rifle comes with a factory warranty. Also note that I personally check each firearm for obvious defects prior to shipping.
