Winchester Model 62 .22 LR (S/L/LR) with a custom stock by Ed Aubert (California). Serial number 77322A features a 23-inch barrel with dovetailed blade front sight and a dovetailed rear sight with elevation adjustment (elevator). Stocked in AAA-grade claro walnut with delicate grain seemingly meant for a rimfire, the fine checkering pattern is accented with ribbons, fleurs and an oval at the bottom of the forend surrounding a field of extremely fine checkering. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 5.2 pounds and length-of-pull is 13.25 inches. CONDITION: The bore is bright, with sharp rifling. Metal finish is about 60 percent, with general thinning and splotches over the barrel and tangs. The action itself is about 75 percent. One screw on the lower tang has been molested. Wood finish is 100 percent and wood integrity is about 99 percent from a couple of tiny handling impressions. The price is firm. Photo package by request (include direct email address).
