Winchester Model 54 Rifle in 22 Hornet - Mint

The 2nd Best 54 Hornet we have ever seen. Serial # 406xxA (1933 Vintage). The best one we sold 20 years ago. When we say mint, we are not exaggerating. Of course, this gun has some little minor handling marks which we will point out. Overall Condition is 98-99% Original Finish!!! We don't see any as good as this one built in the 30's, especially chambered in 22 Hornet. The metal retains all of 99% Original Blue. The butt-plate has the most wear on the exposed edges where it sat in a rack or gun case for years. Still retains 95% Blue. The floor-plate and trigger guard have two or three very insignificant mars or hairline scratches and still retain 99% Original Blue. You see any of these older Winchesters with that much Original Blue on those two areas and you know it spent its life in a gun case. The Wood retains 98-99% Original Finish with two or three very minor handling marks shown if you can see them. Front Sight is Original with the proper Lyman Receiver Sight. No provision for a rear sight. Drilled properly for a for a scope block on barrel. No extra holes in the rear bridge. Proper Swivels and no sight hood. A Great Model 54!!! FFL or C&R Required.
