We are offering for sale a Winchester Model 1885 WINDER MUSKET Low Wall falling block rifle chambered in .22 short caliber. 28” barrel is very good with 97% original barrel bluing. Bore remains excellent and is bright with strong rifling. Receiver is very good with 60% bluing, light peppery pitting. Rifle has standard blade sight and “Climbing Lyman” aperture rear sight. “US” and “Ordnance Bomb” on upper tang. Gun has an excellent grooved fore-end with single band that doubles as front sling swivel. Straight grip buttstock is excellent with only light overall wear. Steel musket style buttplate. Gun was made between 1918-1919. C&R ELIGIBLE!
