Winchester M.1894 Rifle

Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle, 32-40 cal Bore VG plus strong rifling with fine pitting. Mech VG plus, Wood VG plus the left side of the stock has some neatly carved in Ranch date and brand markings. Has a 26” Rd barrel with full magazine, has original Winchester sights and excellent Winchester markings address and 32-40 cal markings. The receiver has the W F Sheard Tacoma WA who was a period gun dealer and inventor who had several patents on rifle sights. The receiver has the Model 1894 Winchester Patent Aug21,1894 marking Metal overall has an aged grey patina finish with traces of original blue. Serial#76957 mfg 1897. Letter Correct from Cody Museum
