Winchester 1895 SRC Rifle (.30-40 Krag)

Here we have a Winchester 1895 SRC Rifle (.30 Army). This saddle ring carbine has a 22” barrel with a relatively shiny bore. The blueing shows a lot of wear but is not entirely gone. The stocks are in good condition and do show scratches & dings as well as some wear in the finish on the wood, but is free from cracks. The butt stock has some wood chipped on both sides of the receiver area by the hammer. The receiver had been drilled & tapped for a peep sight which is no longer on this item.
