Winchester 06 Pump 22 Rifle in Excellent Conditon

SS# 380XXX From a local estate sale, a Winchester Model 06 pump action (shorts, longs & long rifle)22 cal. rifle with 20" round barrel, blade front sight, vee rear sight (both appear original) black butt plate that is not broken or cracked (has been well photos). The action functions as it should and is tight, from what I can see of the bore it looks good and I can see no pitting. The stock and forend are solid with no cracks or chips (see photos). The metal finish is good with some wear on the sharp edges (see photos) The hammer spring is strong and it cocks as it should, the trigger works as it should and the magazine works properly and is not damaged (see photos). The heirs of the estate told me that the gun originaly belonged to their great garandfather and in the 1960's their grandfather had the gun refinished and hung on the wall and never shot it again and it has never been out of the family for four generations. I don't know if this is true however the gun is 99 years old and although I have'nt shot the gun (I cycled shells through it and it functioned perfectly) I am sure it would be a good shooter.
