Weaver Revelation 4115 4x 1950s 3/4 in Rimfire Scope Vietnam Vet Estate SM0420

Here is a vintage, circa 1960, Revelation brand rimfire scope that saw service in the woods and fields of our little county. It assisted its late owner in his early years not only with harvesting squirrels and rabbits, but also with developing his marksmanship skills that he later used with the United States Air Force as gunner in Viet Nam on rescue missions. His most notable mission was Son Tay aboard a Sikorsky HH-53. Then Sergeant Aaron Paul Hodges went on to serve in his home county’s Sheriff’s Department and even served as Sheriff here in Chester County Tennessee. Scope manufacturer is W.R. Weaver, manufactured for Western Auto Stores. Model is Revelation 5115. Construction is one piece blue steel tube, 3/4 inch diameter, with black plastic eyepiece housing and objective lens sunshade. Crosshair is plain type fine crosshair. We do not believe this scope ever had adjustment covers. Any 3/4 inch scope ring will work for mounting. Magnification is Fixed 4 Power. Optics are as clear as any of these low end scopes were, manufactured during the 1960s.
