WWII U.S. Army Case For M1 Carbine Dated 1944

This is a WWII Type II M1 Carbine Carry Case 37 inches long. Case is made of heavy canvas with an aluminum zipper closure and two leather tabs at either end of the zipper track. Zipper tab has a short canvas pull strap. Back of the case has a one inch adjustable canvas strap/buckle that allows the case to be slung over the shoulder. These cases were commonly used by troops boarding transport ships. This carry case is in excellent shape. Canvas and stitching are sound. Leather is fresh and solid. Aluminum pull zipper functions normally. This WWII case was manufactured by Rice O'Neill Shoe Co. in 1944. Cases in this condition are getting harder to find. Nice addition to your WWII M1 Carbine.
