WW 2 MOSIN-NAGANT SNIPER RIFLE

Up for auction is a beautiful arsenal refinished Mosin-Nagant from 1942. The metal retains almost all its original bluing, and the wood furniture has an arsenal repair on the heel of the butt stock but is otherwise blemish free: no cracks, gouges, mars, scrapes, or dings. The receiver, bolt, and floor plate all match. The rifling is sharp and clear and free of rust and pitting. The action is tight and the trigger is short with a clean let-off with very little creep. I've included a couple of photos from the range session to show it's potential accuracy: these were cold bore shots from a bench using the iron sights (not the scope). These were made using commercial practice ammo (Wolf) with my old, aged eyes that aren't what they used to be. With practice and better ammo (and better eyes), I have no doubt you could shrink these groups to a much more respectable size. It comes with a new sling, muzzle brake, and cleaning rod. (Bayonet and ammo pouches are also available upon request for a slight upcharge.) This would make a nice addition to your collection if you don't have one of these sniper rifles yet (and I don't believe they're importing them anymore). We will do a lay-a-way upon request.
