This rifle would make a fine addition to any collection - or as a big game hunting rifle.
Built on an improved Model 1886 Winchester frame, it has the following attributes: 24" barrel with a perfect bore and standard sights (retaining about 95 % bluing); LONG TANG receiver (retaining about 65% bluing, worn off from carrying - NOT drilled and tapped for a receiver sight or milled for a bolt sight); steel butt plate; standard grade stocks in excellent condition (no cracks, chips or dents); and sling swivels that were added aftermarket.
I would grade this rifle to be about 80% in overall condition.
