Winchester Model 75 Target Rifle w/28" barrel. A very nice classic rifle. Once referred to as " the poor mans Model 52" these rifles are well known for their accuracy. They were widely used by School shooting teams and the Military. According to Winchester, this one was built in 1941 and does not show it's age at all. The wood and bluing are in very good condition. Chamber and barrel look fine but could use an extensive cleaning. (According to the consignee, it has not been shot in well over 25 years.) The rifle is missing the original peep sights but does have a Redfield USA 3200 Bench rest target scope. This scope is nice and was made in Denver. 16 power with 40 MM objective lens, gloss finish, 1" steel blued tube and fine crosshair reticle. Scope has 1/4 minute click adjustments and is 23 1/2" long w/adjustable Objective lens. The rifle is also equipped with some type of metal bracket at the front of the forearm. It also comes with a strange looking bracket for the butt plate that appears to fit under the arm of the shooter. It comes with 1-5rd 22LR only negative of this rifle is that it is missing 1 screw in the butt plate. This rifle is a real bargain when you consider the scope alone is selling for $600+ on Ebay.
