Original WINCHESTER 1873 Musket 44.40 WCF Caliber & Bayonet in V/Good Condition. The Original Finish is a Mix of Blue with Brown and Gray Patina, The Gun Action Functions Perfectly and the Bore is V/Good++ Bright, with Strong Rifling and a couple of spots of very light pepper. The Wood has seen hard use but is still in Good Condition with several dings, dents and a couple of tight hairline cracks but still feels Strong with No Looseness, It Has a Trap-Door Butt-Plate but no cleaning-rod. This is a 100% Original Gun that was Manufactured in 1890 and that were purchased for State Militias, Guards and foreign governments that most of the foreign purchases were marked with government, inspector, unit or army stamps, This gun has only the Winchester markings. This is Strictly a Early 44.40 Black-Powder Firearm and Not Designed to handle Modern 44.40 Smokeless Hi-Pressure Cartridges.
