Seller Description
BRAND NEW Vector Micro Uzi / Mini Uzi 9mm full-auto registered B&G Bolt with a BRAND NEW Micro Uzi host weapon. This Micro Uzi SMG started life as a brand new IMI Uzi pistol ( serial #UP-06877 ) imported by Action Arms of Philadelphia, PA. The Uzi pistol and B&G bolt were sent to Rex at Vector Arms in North Salt Lake City, Utah to be properly converted to full Micro Uzi specifications including; full-auto lower, correct factory folding wire stock welded to frame and bayonet lug welded on frame under barrel to accommodate attachment of a quick-detach knurled steel vertical grip to assist with control. The Micro Uzi was then properly engraved and refinished to new condition. It has not been fired since Vector performed the conversion. Per ATF NFA regulations, the registered B&B Bolt can legally be moved to any other Micro Uzi or Mini Uzi host receiver. If you don't happen to have a Mini Uzi host weapon, Rex at Vector Arms can build you a brand new Mini Uzi host weapon complete with proper folding wire stock, full-auto lower, about $900. With this set up you can literally have both a Micro Uzi and a Mini Uzi for little more than the cost of a Mini Uzi alone ( and also just the one NFA tax stamp for the registered bolt ). This is a similar process to when someone moves a registered H&K sear amongst several H&K full-auto weapons -- except, since H&K barrels are not readily detachable, any of the H&K host weapons with barrels under 16.0" must be registered as a short barreled rifle ( SBR ) if they're separated from their registered sear. Here's how this works: unlike a standard ( or full sized ) Uzi SMG, both the Mini Uzi and Micro Uzi were designed to utilize the exact same size bolt. Once the host receivers of the Mini and Micro Uzis are properly configured ( by the pros at Vector Arms ) to properly function in full-auto mode, the registered bolt can quickly and easily be transferred back and forth between the two host weapons. Only the full-auto B&G bolt is registered with ATF as the machine gun ( with a Form 4 $200 NFA tax paid transfer ). By placing the registered bolt within a host weapon that also happens be a short barreled rifle ( SBR ), the machine gun designation of the registered bolt takes precedence over the SBR designation and precludes the necessity of registering the host weapon as an SBR -- thus saving the owner the hassle of registering the host firearm as an SBR as well as saving the owner the $200 NFA registration tax. Assuming that both the Mini Uzi and Micro Uzi host guns are properly configured to SMG specification with folding stocks and short barrels, all one need do to preclude the cost of registering the host weapons as short barreled rifles is to always, always, always remember to REMOVE THE SHORT BARREL FROM THE RECEIVER THAT DOES NOT CURRENTLY HOST THE REGISTERED BOLT ( which takes all of 30 seconds ). This a very convenient and affordable way to own both a full-auto Micro Uzi and a full-auto Mini Uzi for around $6,000 to $7,000 less then what it would likely cost to buy the two SMGs separately. Included are four magazines ( one new OEM 32rd magazine and three used/excellent OEM 25rd magazines ), a quick-detach knurled steel vertical front grip ( the vertical grip really aids in controlling the Micro Uzi on full-auto fire ) and the original Uzi pistol blue plastic storage case ( which can be easily modified to fit the Micro Uzi with it's stock attached ). The registered B&G bolt currently resides on a Form 3 in NH. Will consider trading this as partial payment toward a registered Fleming H&K full-auto sear or MP5 with Fleming sear.
