From its BS letter Italian Date Code, this blank revolver was manufactured in 2002. Construction is mostly zinc alloy, with some steel parts, including the cylinder rod and its mating surfaces, and the firing pin. Barrel is 6 inches, and is not really a barrel at all, gases vent ought through the .130 wide space between the cylinder face and solid area behind the barrel assembly. This revolver follows the general contours and dimensions of a Colt Python. Cylinder has internal baffles and undersize ports to prevent some fool trying to convert this to a real firearm. Cylinder capacity is six rounds of 380K Blank Ammunition. The ammunition construction comes from loading and then crimping a .380 ACP Case. Headstamps indicate 380 / 9x17, but it is a rimmed case as the photos show. Blank ammunition is readily available, but we are not familiar with it enough to make any statements about interchangeability.
